![]() ![]() They're very cool.įirst up lets talk Goof Proof pencil. They have others with crystals on them and some with "red bottoms". So I don't think painting them is always the best option but maybe on the solid colors it would work better. I did paint mine and the nail polish chipped easily on them. My advice is when you apply them at first just plan on wearing them as long as you can. In my opinion you might get two separate wears out of it. So you're supposed to be able to take these off whenever you want and then pop them back on when you want them on again. The only down side is that my glue actually glued the lid shut to it when I used it the first time. So if you get tired of the design you can paint them. I swear these are better than professionally done acrylics. I don't know why because I've always hated press on nails. I got these press on nails from Static Nails on a whim, they weren't very expensive and I just decided to buy them. Ulta always has a coupon for $3.50 off $15 so you could buy something else and basically get an Elf Brow Pencil free since it's $2. You can find these at Ulta, Walmart and I guess anywhere else they sell Elf Cosmetics. It seems a bit more warm in my opinion though, I bought all 3 shades to have for clients and so on. I can use black/brown as well but I use a light hand with it so it doesn't get too "sharpie" looking. I just feel Neutral Brown is kinda a universal color or at least useable until you find your color. Of course there are two other shades you can choose from as well. ![]() It's not dark, it's cool toned so it won't be too warm, and it would fit everything from ashy blonde hair to dark hair like mine. Like I said earlier I would start with Neutral Brown. I find that I can do my brows just as easily and just as quickly as I had been with other pencils, and much faster than I use a pomade or Wunderbrow. Which is the point of this, the product is good, the pigmentation and easy use is there, so for $2 I feel it's worth your time. However, for $2, I'm more than happy to use this Elf one and save myself a ton of money. To me I prefer pencils that are angled like the Brow Definer from ABH and the Goof Proof from Benefit. For the price though I would totally take the gamble and at least see if it's similar enough for your liking. ![]() In my opinion this is quite similar to the Brow Wiz from ABH, except the pencil or crayon itself inside is just a bit thicker than the Brow Wiz pencil or crayon. Much like the ABH Brow Wiz or other brow pencils for that matter. This is a mechanical pencil with a brow brush/spooly on the other end. My advice is start with Neutral Brown and go from there shade wise. So that's three pencils for $6 all together. Then I went and got the 2 other shades: Taupe, and Black/Brown. I got this for $2 and the first shade I got was Neutral Brown. What inspired me to do this is actually this product right here, the Elf Instant Lift Brow Pencil. Whether high end or inexpensive, if it's great then I want to talk about it, especially if no one else really is. Hey guys, I'm hoping to start a new series called: Why Is No One Talking About It? I want it to be dedicated to awesome products flying under the radar. ![]()
